Guedes described e-learning programme a success which complimented the traditional training system of police to enhance personal knowledge in specialised areas along international standards.
He added, “UNODC is currently transforming the training platform from computer-based to a full-scale e-learning so it could be made available in online format with additional features and benefits.”
The UNODC representative maintained, “Within the framework of UNODC Pakistan Programme, e-learning has been identified as a priority assistance towards building the law enforcement capacity so it can meet the security challenges, as well as community expectations.”
